What can I expect during my carbon peel laser treatments?
Carbon laser peels are performed right in the office of Cassie Lane by our trained and experienced team. Patients relax in the treatment chair as the skin is prepared by removing cosmetics and cleansing the skin’s surface with a gentle, mild cleanser. A bamboo charcoal cream is applied to remove impurities that typical cleansers may leave behind. The cream is also enriched with antioxidants and growth factors to help stimulate collagen. The laser is then used to dry the masque. Once the cream has dried, it has bonded with oil, dirt, and contaminants on the skin’s surface that may contribute to clogged pores and a dull appearance. A specialized laser device is then used to emit laser onto the skin through the carbon cream to break it down and remove the impurities from the skin. This includes bacteria, dead skin cells, and excess oils. After the cream is removed, the procedure finishes with a warm laser treatment that boosts collagen and elastin production creating a tightening effect. NaturaPeel is a quick, comfortable and no-downtime procedure.
